Tiwari said that leaders who invoke Lord Ram must first demonstrate commitment to the principles of Ram Rajya—justice, integrity, compassion, good governance, and accountability.
"Lord Ram needs no protection from politicians. It is India's farmers, tribals, unemployed youth, and rural poor who need protection. Maharashtra does not need another symbolic agitation; it needs courageous leadership to confront the agrarian crisis."
According to Tiwari, during Uddhav Thackeray's tenure as Chief Minister, Maharashtra witnessed deepening agrarian distress, growing unemployment, administrative failures, and widening public dissatisfaction. He argued that these issues remain far more urgent than symbolic political campaigns.
Tiwari recalled that he publicly defended Uddhav Thackeray on numerous national television platforms between 2019 and 2025 despite intense political attacks. However, he said he later parted ways with the party after raising objections regarding its internal functioning and candidate selection process.
"I chose not to join any breakaway faction because my commitment has always been to farmers and rural India—not to political camps. My struggle against corruption, authoritarianism, and injustice continues independently," Tiwari said.
He urged all political parties to stop competing over religious symbolism while ignoring Maharashtra's worsening rural economy.
Tiwari highlighted what he described as the state's most pressing challenges:
- Continuing farmer suicides across Vidarbha.
- Financial distress among cotton growers and dryland farmers.
- Delays and disputes relating to crop insurance.
- Inadequate institutional agricultural credit.
- Rising rural unemployment.
- Challenges faced by tribal communities regarding livelihood and development.
- Public concerns regarding corruption and governance.
"History will not judge political leaders by the slogans they raise. It will judge them by whether they stood with widows of farmers, protected tribal communities, created employment for youth, and defended constitutional governance."
Tiwari appealed to Uddhav Thackeray to transform the proposed programme into a statewide movement for farmers, rural employment, tribal rights, transparent governance, and accountability.
"If there is genuine commitment to Lord Ram's ideals, let Maharashtra witness a movement for justice, honesty, and the welfare of the poorest citizens. That alone would truly reflect the spirit of Ram Rajya."
